Hi guys I want my next car to be a fun drive..
I read a ton of reviews and this is what I take from them
Golf wagon is like the Golf hatch, great ride and bags of fun to drive because of the chasis
Yet the Octvaia reviews say is 95% the same car as the golf, same chasis just bigger and better value.
But ALL say its good to drive but NOT "Fun" to drive..
why is this?
Fun is subjective.
The most fun car I've ever had was a 1972 VW bug. The most fun car my wife has ever had was a basic XF Falcon - go figure.
You need to drive them & make up your own mind.
carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
^^ Agreed. It's a tough call but most fun i've had was either in a 1972 Ford escort 2 door, or a 1984 daihatsu charade turbo. Both POS cars, but its what you do in them that determines fun! TBH i've had a lot of fun in the wifes jazz - have to make up for the severe lack of power in the hills with a large amount of bravery in the corners!

I give the 1985 Honda City ProT 1.2lt 5spd the best FunFactor and Bang for the Buck. Small van like micro car that gave you good power to wait ... I mean weight, with GoCart like handling and up to 50mpg City Cycle. It would see off a lot of 1.8lt small cars.
My next door neighbour - who has never had any interesting cars whatsoever, has, now he has retired, just picked up a lovely Z3 2.8. I wouldn't have picked him to buy one but you never know !
