Let's be honest- a premium sports tyre from any top manufacturer is going to be good. Make a choice based on a perceived difference, brand preference or price and you'll be happy.
That's a great price on PS3s you should go for them.

You can still X-rotate them. You just can't turn them on the rim if you want to move a worn shoulder from outside to inside or viceversa.
Asymmetrics are my preferred option.
x rotate? Looking at their tread pattern it would appear you can only rotate the left front with the left rear and right front with the right rear? Not x rotate which I infer means left front with right rear etc?

Symmetrical can only be rotated front to back.
Asymmetrical can go from the LHS to RHS (front to back or whatever). There isn't a left & right tyre - the only tyre I can think of like that is a Pirelli.
ie: all 4 F1A2 tyres are the same & you can put them on any axle you want. Disregard what you assume to be a direction in the pattern - it's there but is irrelevant.
I can't think of any other way to explain it

I've had in mind using costco as the second one in Melbourne is 10min away and ps3s seem reasonable there.
Do you mind posting what Costco charge per corner for the PS3s please as you can't find out there pricing I believe unless you're a member and I'm not going to pay the annual joining fee of $60 unless their tyres are very well priced.

Have you tried ringing them?
There seems to be a lot of myth about Costco. I went there & wanted to look around & the meet / greet lady was happy for me to wander around & check prices without joining first. I'd been told it was impossible to enter the store without a membership card.
BTW: Bob janes will price match now so get the price of the tyre you want from Tmpe Tyres & get the BJs guy to price match.
