Not sure what else I can do. I have asked the dealer and they just check their computer, I contacted Skoda through their facebook page and they just got in contact with my dealer to contact me!?

Reading that, it seems that Skoda are happy to try & make sales in small volume markets. They also appear to be really trying to make a mark all over the European continent.

Ordered a VRS wagon on 11 April 2014, 18" black pack and all other options except leather in Steel Grey. I still have no confirmation of build date and only information from dealer is that it has been in "Frozen" status for the last 2 weeks. Does anyone know what this actually means and were their cars in "frozen" status just before build??

Frozen means no changes as build materials are being finalised. It should get confirmed build date very soon. Basically it means your car is about to be built.

@GTR27 I've been following this thread for awhile, I was hoping my car would be coming on the same boat as yours and they were doing a bunch of Aussie builds at once. Any idea how long they stay in 'frozen' status for? It's been over 2 weeks since this update, no movement as of yesterday.

Mine was frozen for just over two weeks. The factory is ahead of schedule, so you may be in luck! Fingers crossed.

Skoda Gold Coast has two RS - blue hatch and white wagon, both manual and with Black Pack 19" rims. With red stitching and flat bottomed wheel. Looks beautiful.

Ahh that White Wagon is the one they offered me when it was on the boat a few weeks ago..... pity they refused to deal at all on price.

I just got off the phone from talking to Sloda Australia
They have yet to be advised of build dates for any Octavia RS MY15 cars that have been ordered
Lead to from when the build date is will be 3 to 6 months. Concidering we ordered and paid our deposit mid May I can't say I'm really happy.
No wonder the dealer hasn't rung me

Come on Geoffs! Skoda Australia has submitted a business plan! It doesn't actually say they will deliver cars to customers

Skoda's plan is to be the biggest **** tease ever. Offer a great car at a good price, but not be able to actually get one.... They allocate them randomly. Getting one is like winning the lottery.

I'm sure their business plan is like this to force people to vw or Audi. I'm waiting because I'm a stubborn bastard.

I was upset before, now I'm really pissed.
I have been trying to contact the salesjerk at Trivett Rosebery and haven't been able to get through. The reason is that Trivett now sell Skoda at their Parramatta branch. It was so nice of them to let us know.
I am still waiting to hear from the relevant sales moron there. I am still keen to buy the RS as the equivalent car that has a similar level of fruit is the A4 Avant which is a lot more expensive.
I just posted a not happy comment on their Facebook page. I wonder how long it will stay for

I've posted multiple times on various posts of theirs telling others about the crazy long waits. They never responded to me, probably think I'm trolling. I am in a way, but they need to acknowledge there is a massive problem at the moment. Potential customers also need to know this. And honestly, from current customers, not from dealers.

Edit: look for another dealer.... There are good ones around.
