Woohoo. Skoda provided me with a few options and this afternoon I have signed a new contract with Gold Coast Skoda. Rob was very helpful and honoured the price I had. Probably the easiest sale he's ever done lol. Skoda have been given the OK to release my car to them, so fingers crossed dealer gets it early next week and I can collect at the end of the week. The end is in sight! Hooray!

Re: your deposit, I've read it's worth a shot at contacting your bank to arrange a chargeback. Apparently they might have power to reverse the charge but only if the deposit was charged against a credit card. Will definitely be giving this a shot when/if I ever get my golf
