There was the odd dunlop in there, but NO NEXANS. If your car has them when you go to pick it up, question them as they are not OEM tyres.
Mine came with a Nexen as a spare. I wasn't too happy about it. There's no OEM tyre listed in the manual so who am I to question it? Given my experience with Skoda Australia as an unhappy customer I'm not confident they would care about a customers tyre preference one iota.
I have CGU and they give 3 years new car replacement provided you don't exceed their maximum km. RACQ offer 2 years and most of the others vary between 1 or 2 years.

Looks like the Oz orders are coming. I wonder how much stock dealers will get for the floor....or whether they will keep doing factory orders.
As for the new for old, yes I meant after 2 yrs is when agreed would make sense, especially if finance is involved as the payout could be less. CGU is the other insurer that the smash repairers liked. I couldn't remember before, but it was definitely them along with Allianz so will check them out when my cars are due in Nov.
I ordered 2 weeks into April and unconfirmed info suggests an August build with only 6 RS Octavia's for Aus in August, 2 going to my dealer. I think early next week some more firm information will be available. Issues with demand being greater than parts supply for the tech pack are mentioned.
