New Octavia ....when? How Much?

Hello guys and girls,

Been a long time fan of the forum although I have never owned a VAG automobile.

I am happy to say that I am treating myself and the family to a new Octavia RS, thus elevating myself from my '95 Mitsubishi Magna TS manual. I still love my Magna, a testament of an era of quality Japanese engineering.

I booked the RS late March and the dealer submitted the order early this month. So what am I getting?

Good buy there, it'll be interesting to see if your car does get built before the MY15 change over in July seeing as it doesn't have the tech pack.

Can I ask how much it was to add the Turini wheels?

Thanks mate. Yes indeed, I have picked certain elements from the Tech pack so it will be interesting to see when it will get built.

The Turini wheels are a straight swap with my 18" Geminis that come with the black pack.

Yes, I have seen those shots and really liked those wheels. Not a big fan of the wheels on offer on the RS.

Yep, if you were trying that sort of move at BMW etc, you would get slugged a couple of grand !

Not sure if they ship to AUS though, their website was down when I last checked.
