Im may 7 order, just before Xmas pickup (like Dec 15-22ish). For an ambition+ with tech pack (manual).

Just got off the phone with the dealer and he highlighted that cars with tech pack minus RVC were being built this month and cars with tech pack and RVC were being built mid October. Again the approximate December pick up date I was told about keeps pushing out. Now looking at January / February pick up date... The car was ordered in late June - just insane wait times!

Ditto from my dealer, 2 July order. This actually gives me hope the mid Oct batch with RVC are not just a figment of his imagination. TBF I was told Jan-Feb delivery from the getgo. If build happens then the shipping would need to stuff up for delivery to be later.

Found it. In Germany atm (bremerhaven). Coming via Brisbane, not via perth! Wooohoo! although strangely, its going via the USA.....

Mine's on the "Toscana" ... quite a few of them as well. Typing in the displayed IMO number or the call sign makes it easier to track. My RS wagon (built 29th July) gets offloaded in Port Kembla Monday week so delivery is mid October hopefully

Getting ridiculous they must be losing a lot of sales

VW Australia, let alone, VwAG are not the least bit concerned about sales numbers for skoda models sold in the australian market.
skoda sells huge numbers in europe, china, india, russia etc etc.
sales in australia are just a blip in the radar for VwAG.

as long as vw aus continue to control every aspect of the skoda's operations in aus, there will b no bounds n leaps for customers here.....sadly

If the factory is at capacity, its at capacity. Everyone has to get in line. :/

That viewpoint doesn't help the situation if you want a car reasonably quick... nor does it help dealers build a business, or retain motivated staff or a loyal customer base.

On the upside, there's a certain amount of exclusivity. I still wave to other Skoda owners even though there are more and more around.

Congratulations on the toys everyone. Looking forward to a lot of proud grins and in-depth reviews.

I received an update on my second attempt at ordering an RS yesterday. The 'correct' order, after the stuff up with the transmission, was registered in the Skoda system on 11 Aug. The status is now changed to frozen and a build week to be allocated some time in December. So, hopefully, I should have my car by Feb-Mar 2015. YAAaay...

Awesome stuff GTR and hearing those earlier delivery times is definitely a plus after such a long wait - finishing line in site!! Hopefully with that mid-October build, I can start seeing that finishing line myself...

I must admit that I've started to do the rubber neck every time I go past a new Octavia.

You should get it early to mid Jan with a mid Oct build.

I have seen close to 10 RS in Melbourne, only one hatch though

In fact, I saw two this week, one in Doncaster, one in CBD
