There is a decent panel beater walking distance from home and another near work, so hopefully I can use one of those. Might have to ride the scooter for a few days!

To cheer me up, I bought a Bluefin from the FS section here so at least I can start my modding

Ok, claim made. Car isn't getting repaired until April 13th
Went outside and had a good look at it now that I've calmed down and the intense rage has subsided, and it doesn't look so bad. Won't be embarrassing to drive for 2 weeks. Hell, if the reflectors weren't broken it's hardly noticeable to anyone looking at it.

I put the first scratch in mine, totally self-inflicted. About 20mm long, down to the primer on the driver's door. Very painful, I've only had the thing a week. I'm ordering a touch up paint kit.

Received and installed my Bluefin
Took a while to read the stock map from the car, had to attempt it around 4 times as it kept crapping out with an error message. Not sure why, but it got there in the end. Uploaded to the PC, received my new map from Superchips within 2 minutes flat!

Took less than 5 mins to flash it to the car, then went for a spin. Got a CEL but restarting the car got rid of it.

Must say, I'm fairly impressed for the money. Decent boost to the midrange, 3rd gear is fun!

5 minute and $5 mod
Bought some cheap light overlay film from ebay, and put it on the fog lights. Always liked the yellow euro foglight look. The film seems pretty good quality it's quite thick. Very easy to apply, although I rushed it a bit so it's not perfect. I have enough of the film to do it heaps of times over though, so may redo it if it annoys me.

Here is my RS getting ANOTHER puncture repaired... This is the third puncture I've had in my Skoda. It must be the soft tyres because all of my previous cars never had any punctures.

They're the factory ContiSportContact 3's, so yes; predominantly longitudinal groves. And yes, always on the rear tyres!

i had a few punctures in my CSC2s. Always the rear.

My theory is the front tyre straightens the nail/screw & flicks it onto the rear tyre at the perfect angle for penetration.

Yeah they are both OEM tyres. I think it's just a lucky dip and what they have in stock at the factory as to what you get!
