Quite strangely, I used to have a list of the ones I saw in Sydney and wherever I went. But stupidly, I lost the bloody thing...it was almost a page full.
Ones I've seen recently: Grey Superb (apparently it was part of the press fleet) at Sydney Airport, a Grey-ish-Purple Octavia 2.0TDI hatch (waved endlessly at the driver but they didn't notice or were ignoring me...), a White RS hatch just like mine! I was like "Crap, someone stole the car! Oh, I'm in the car...it's another one!" The family gave me a hugely weird look...
There are many more in Melbs than Syd, as on a trip in March I saw three in an hour and yet up here at home I'm lucky to see three in a week!
Spotted a beautiful Blue vRS Hatch, with a England Sticker at the back next to the plate driving (lights on) on Jon Sanders Dr, Osborne Park, onto Powell then South onto the Fwy towards the city.
I had those plates for years on my black 6 and finally someone notices the car.....well done. I have no idea how I stay invisible for so long as part of my job has me driving all over Melb including Geelong.
Add that was a very very dirty RS, we moved house on the weekend so live a bit further north now.
It will be a europecar one....I rented one in tassie...but they don't have them there, so I got a corolla instead.......yes I realise that wasn't even close to the eqivalent....am filling out the survey they sent me now.
Jeesuzzz, he/she must want to carry a humungous amount of stuff - the boot on my Octy wagon is VERY big, and they've got that ginormous top box as well !!!!
But I approve of the colour - the longer I have mine the more I like the yellow
