Blue RS sedan plates YFR *** on northbourne ave this morning. If you post here or read this, get one thing through your head. Northbourne is a no stopping zone for cars. Stopping in the cycle lane holding up traffic and cyclists is illegal. The bus driver who nearly rear ended you and I were not very impressed. You deserved every superlative you received. Again, and your Skoda will be less SKoda shaped.

On a positive note, white MkVI looked good.

A mate of mine just took delivery of a white Elegance wagon with the 1.8 and DSG - and he loves it

Bought it in Melbourne (as he got a significantly better price there), and drove it up to Canberra via the coast road

Spotted 2nd time in Perth... this time rather than on Fwy... in Kensington on Millpoint Road... late in the evening and couldn't believe my two eye's! Just returned from Europe where all the Octavia's are... my heaven haha this Octavia, v similar, no photo though... in British Green...



Female, blonde driver in her 40's or so.... we pulled up at a red light and was tempted to ask her if she knew what she was driving.... but didn't and then went green, saw the back plates stock WA ones.... but you could see the double sided black tape left on the back where the Euro plate/frame use to be... of course it was RHD...

Spotted a blue Octavia TDI sedan behind me at Brisbane airport, turned out it was a hire car from Europcar as we both dropped off our cars there. It seemed to have Xenons though. Anyway peeved I didn't get given one, was supposed to have an upgrade and got a crappy Kia at the same size instead.

When the dealer let us take an Octavia out for the day a couple of weeks ago, we pulled into the underground car park at the National Portrait Gallery and there was another silver one in the next row.

Now that I've got my heart set on one, I see them every second day or so (eg. red Octavia wagon with 'L' plates last weekend, black sedan in the carpark at the Hyperdome, black sedan at the Drakeford/Woodcock roundabout, Roomster two days ago).

I rented a car at Brisbane airport on Thursday (actually friday morning)-Europcar has Skoda's? I got stuck with a Tiida-next time I go to Eurocar and pay the extra! I guess I should be glad I didn't get a Getz.

Lucky you even got a Tiida, I got a crappy Kia, once upon a time I used to get pulsars/Tiidas and Mazda 3s...sometimes in Tassie I still get Pug 307s and Audi A3s for the same amount.....but mainly Europcar give you pretty crappy cars for the same amount now.
