Hi everybody,

I found this forum when I googled "vw extended warranty" recently. I've been driving a 2007 GTI with DSG since Oct 2007. It has no other options on it - except metallic blue paint. I love driving it, but reliability has been an issue.

Hi, a quick introduction for myself...

My wife and I just bought a 2010 Passat station wagon 125TDI highline, metalic silver, with sat nav, RVC, park assist, ACC, alarm, auto tailgate, and integrated child booster seats. Loving it so far!

My first car was a VW golf, approx late 1970s iiuc, which was my father's old car... I drove it about 2 years until the clutch gave out (iirc).

Just placed an order for a Candy White 5dr GTI w/DSG. Options include leather, dynamic chassis control, 18" Detroits, bi-xenon and MDI. Can't wait! (But I'll just have to ...)

Hi all,

My name is Tommie, and I am a big Vw fan. Ive been living in Australia for the past 6 years, but have been loving Vdubs for years. Back home (South Africa) we are fortunately flooded with these great cars.

Ive had a Mk4 Golf Gti, but sold it for a Vw Jetta Mk5 Fsi turbo. Recently bought a Vw Mk1 1976 2 door which is gonna get transformed into something special !!!!!!

I would like to find out more about engine conversions, mods, info and all things crazy.

G'Day everybody, I have just bought my first diesel after driving a diesel hire car in France for two weeks. Have picked myself up a MkV Golf 2.0L TDI Pacific with leather, cant wait to get behind the wheel have a drive upto horsham the day I pick it up. happ to hear any hints and tricks, the Oettinger upgrade looks sweet but not sweet enoung to dict the warranty.

James here, currently in the UK but all being well moving to Victoria in 2012.

Currently drive a 1999 2.5TDi T4 Kombi.

Wife and I chuck the awning in the van and get away as many weekends as we can - Just love the dub scene over here and looking forward to hooking up and chillin out with the scene over your way

Unfortunately it costs way too much to bring a van over so will be on the look out for the same when I arrive. Looking at the classifieds you dont have cheao vans so it may take a while before the right one comes my way.

Will want to know loads of stuff in good time but until then - hang lose

My name is Marcus and I have a 1987 MKII GTI. It is an imported 2 door model with original log book with all the details (car pictured).

Car Has been fitted with fully adjustable suspension and Torsion Bar. After market power steering and a later model EFI engine with new Microtek computer.

Considering selling the car, but require some parts (Window mechanism etc) just to tidy her up a bit. Can any one suggest where to source parts for the older models?

I know of one other 2 door GTI, does anybody know how many are in Australia?

You'll probably find that Golf_Loon at Camden GTI (down Campbelltown way) will have parts to suit a Mk2 - I think he just brought a whole bunch of stuff in recently.

Hi All,

I've recently bought a Mk6 GTI (a couple of weeks ago). Red 5 door, 17's, Leather, Tint, DSG.

Very happy with the car. Actually, absolutely rapt with it! Most impressed with the DSG - it's awesome!
