Dyno Day for SA??

I've spoken to a couple of people about this already but thought I'd just look to gauge interest in running a dyno day later this year.

Nothing concrete at this stage - I've only made some initial inquiries.

Just interested in thoughts/feedback from other forum members before I take this any further.

I'll have to find out critical numbers / $ to make this viable but if there's enough interest I'm keen to make this happen.

...and it would be a 4WD dyno to cater for both FWD and AWD cars.

There's Graham something workshop Marion Road. He charges 40 for fed and 50 for aws. Top bloke, too. Need min 10 cars, starts 8:00 on Saturday. Needs 3-4 weeks notice.

That's where I was looking at running it as they can cater for FWD and AWD cars.

Normal cost if you book outside a dyno day is $110-$130 so it's a significantly discounted price to get your car on the dyno.

At the moment we have 4 interested so would need another 6+ committed to make a morning of it.

Prefer to run it before weather gets to warm too...

Sadly my GTI will be gone before this gets up off the ground.. but as it isn't far from me I'd be keen to catch up and check out the results. I don't think there's much point putting the mrs' Polo up..

It'd have to be kransky's and sauerkraut.. support our German friends who are facing a one day a week meat ban. Seems their election campaign is stupider than ours.

We've also done north and east, so we could try south or west? I suggested somewhere in Blackwood at one point.

I'd call that South. Seems as good a place as any and has parking . Not sure if I will be able to make it but will try.
