  • Quick reminder for everyone that the drive day is on tomorrow morning - meet point is 9:30am at Ruby's Organic Cafe in Stirling main Street.

Just a heads up to everyone attending the drive day tomorrow that the Bay to Birdwood is on - cars depart Glenelg starting at 8:30am. Their route this year goes up Anzac Highway onto Greenhill Rd, Glen Osmond Rd and then up the SE freeway to Hahndorf/Verdun exit.

I suggest people planning on driving up the freeway to Stirling to allow a little more time as there will likely be a bit more slow moving traffic on the road in the morning.

There are no road closures that I'm aware of, however there may be police directing traffic at some of the intersections.

Grrr, surely they could have found a better way to head north east than to head south east! I wonder if that's the least stressful route for the old cars (and, ahem, their old drivers)?

      See you all in Stirling!

        • Great cruise guys; thanks to all who came along!

Suspect we're going to need to work out a better way of keeping on the route though... I suspect a few of us covered a few extra km today exploring new hills backroads.

+1 great day for a drive.

Just adds to the adventure! Seriously though perhaps we ought to have designated meet points marked on the route map to catch up if anyone gets lost or otherwise side-tracked along the way.

That and locate some 100km speed zones in the hills (if they still exist)

Lousy luck on the ticket! We've been very lucky thus far, and rarely see police on our cruises. Hope it doesn't put you off next time Al - it was great to have you along!

                            • Just looking for an expression of interest at this stage if we were to organise a paintless dent removal morning.

How many people would be interested in getting some of those annoying car park dents removed?
