Adelaide: Monthly Coffee and Drive Meet - Discussion Thread

So my vote would be for Caffe Cena (I like the fact we can sit and look out at the cars). On a wednesday night at 7:30pm (I think I read that someone who was keen couldn't make Tuesdays).

So next would be 1st May (as people might be going away for the ANZAC day holiday).

I'm happy with that. Does that suit everyone? We can always change the venue, day and time for any future events if and as required. If enough people reply and are keen, I'll update the thread title with the details.

I'm cool with location and time, although might struggle for this first one as next few weeks are flat out at the office.

I realise we are all potentially coming from different areas so I'd recommend we mix up the locations to suit everyone (while still keeping it fairly centralised).

Agreed. Get the first one off the ground and then hopefully we can keep it regular.. and for those that are interested in a hills drive at some point, we can sort something out at one of these weeknight meets.

Likewise I have a few things on unfortunately but will be doing my best to make it. I'm probably the opposite, very early start Thursday so won't be able to be out too late.

I had a look at the set up on google maps - what are our chances of getting a group of parks together? (or let me know what you're all driving so I know who to look for.. I guess looking for a VW will be a starting point).

This street view shows they have a decent-sized carpark; hopefully there'll be a few spaces free. Not sure how many people we're expecting, but I'd be surprised to see more than a few based on past meets.

As I am still playing with offsets, widths and budget my Detroits will be present this week.
