Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Miro has seen the car before. Ive had it tuned since then so maybe an existing problem has been emphasised

    Either way, it will be great to get out and meet some like minded owners. The drive to Angaston is pretty nice as well so should be a good day out

            Arrghh, It's always the way you plan to have some car time and then you get hit with "by the way don't forget we have XYZ event on Sunday" always happens. If it's not one thing it's another. If I didn't know better I'd say she sneaks on to the forum and check when stuff is on.

                          aaghhh I miss another one of these ! My car is still off the road. After 2 months of being sidelined HPA finally agreed to send me a new strut if I paid for shipping. Miro is booked in to replace it next Thurs so missed by a few days. I'm certainly not going to turn up in the vc commodore I've been driving for the last 2 months, not without a bag on my head.

                              Was a beautiful day for a drive up through the hills this morning.

                              Ice sensor went off when the outside temp dropped below 4 degrees - wondered what that warning sound was.

                              Hopefully the rain stays away until Sunday afternoon....
