It was just a suggestion for people who wanted to meet up for a drive and then go to Volksfest.

There hasn't been a huge response but I'm happy to meet up with anyone who wants to.

Small cruise this morning - 4 cars out for the drive into Volksfest.

The word must be getting out as we had a coupe of Ferraris and AMG Mercs join us for a bit

Nice day for a drive through the hills and good way to end with a stroll through memory lane at Volksfest.

Not a whole lot has been happening of late, but our next coffee meet is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at 8pm. Who's in?

Any suggestions for a location this time round? I'm happy to dredge up some old suggestions we've not yet gone with. I think we're due for a west-side meet this time; thus far we've had north, south and east. Maybe Henley/Grange/Semaphore?

Somewhere near the beach would be good at this time of year though the main challenge is going to be parking.

I suggested these two a while back:

Cafe Evida, Henley Beach (has a large parking lot right outside)

Cafe Primo, Henley Beach (Street View just shows a hostel, but the building is a Primo now)

There's also a few other options:

Largs Pier Hotel, The Esplanade, Largs Bay

Brighton Jetty Cafe, Jetty Rd, Brighton (parking may be a bit tricky)

The coffee meet is one week from today, so let's get a location locked in!

We have one vote for Brighton, which is definitely the trickiest for parking. Anyone else want to state their preference? I've suggested these locations (others are fine too):

Cafe Evida, Henley Beach (has a large parking lot right outside)
Cafe Primo, Henley Beach (Street View just shows a hostel, but the building is a Primo now)

Brighton Jetty Cafe, Jetty Rd, Brighton (parking may be a bit tricky)

Of those four my personal preference is for Evida at Henley Beach, as it has an outdoor deck overlooking a large-ish carpark. But I'm not fussed really. If there are no other comments, we'll go with Brighton and cross our fingers for parking on the day.

Purely from ease of access I think we should go with something relatively central so suggest either of the Henley Beach locations.

Okay, due to concerns about parking, and the traveling distance for the guys coming from the northern suburbs, we'll go with Cafe Evida, Henley Beach, at 8pm next Wednesday.
