Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Ha true, yes I should get out for it.

    Cheers on the wheels, I'm pleased with the outcome (as I am with the other mods too). Intended to take some pics on cruise day but didn't get around to it - will try to update this week.. still coming from the guy who's been sitting on their OZs for how long now?? Mine were on the next working day! (yes I did see your tyre issue update this morning.. sigh).

      OK OK. My excuse is purely financial. After getting the $ together for the wheels I had to save up for tyres (and remodel the kitchen inbetween). Well they should hopefully be on the car by the weekend - one more road trip on the "old" RS4's before they get retired to the shed.

      Plus once the 19's go on I think I'll be in need for some lowering....

        Yeah I haven't really tallied up how much I spent in the last few weeks and don't think I will try either!

        I can accept the above but I expect wheels and now anticipated lowering done by the next meet.

          Wheels will definitely be on however I'll reserve judgement on lowering until I have the 19's on.

            Spewing I missed this meet, I really wanted to come to this one but I had a good excuse........





            These are my HPA KW SHS only one year old. HPA have indicated they might come to the party on a warranty, time will tell.

                        Any ideas for location for the next coffee night given it's only a few weeks away now?

                        Suggest a shopping centre car park with a nearby cafe.

                          We did north last time, so perhaps east, west or south? I can't think of too many cafes that overlook their carpark though...

                              I know that car park, it's bigger than last time but likely to be just as full - not sure if the cafe overlooks the rear as well? Admittedly was a decade ago since I parked there though!

                                Yeah, I don't think anything's changed with it - it's right next to the cafe, but isn't overlooked by it. We can always try somewhere else!
