Christmas cruise idea's ?.....getting in early so we can sort something out.That way everybody has plenty of notice and no "boo hoo" I cant come because im getting my hair done...or what ever....lol

Well according to the calendar (which has just been updated) the next cruise is due on Sunday 7th December.

We'll keep it at this date unless it clashes majorly with something else that is on. The previous weekend is Volksfest.... whether we wanted to organise something around this also????

I was thinking the earlier weekend (October 30th) might be a better bet for that reason, although it'd depend on whether people were happy to end up at Volksfest later on in the day (perhaps after a light lunch). What are everyone's thoughts?

We should definitely do something special for the new-year cruise on January 4.

Without looking at my calendar, I am probably free for either date, but I'm all for combining into Volksfest... although this is the first time I've heard of it, being new to the scene and all.

Do you guys do anything as a group for the big Jaf's Last Cruise each year?

Volksfest is primarily aircooled but they have been getting more watercooled vehicles turning up each year.
Its setup just off the torrens in the city so if we turn up we'd probably have to organise with the club to allow extra allocated parking on the lawn with them.

I think Damien has it sussed.We can have our chrissy cruise on the 7th..but still organise another run in to volksfest for anyone thats willing....any excuse to cruise is always good !

Trouble with that is it can be quite tricky for some people to be available both weekends.

I don't expect we'd be able to organise parking at Volksfest; it'd likely be a case of finding the best parking spots we could in the area (shouldn't be too difficult on a Sunday arvo, as long as there's nothing on at Adelaide Oval).

Thats why I figured if we just concentrate on our run it will be easier.If people want to attend rustfest then they can still organise something.We will be attending both so anyone out north that wants to roll to either in procession just message me and we can tee it up.

There's probably a few people that are going to "park their car on the grass" at Volksfest. I'll probably do this, walk around for a few hours and then look to head off early afternoon. I'm not going to fanatically clean my car because it's a daily and I know it's going to get trashed within a couple of weeks.

If there were some interstate Watercooled cars it would be cool to do a bit of a cruise with these guys on this weekend, but I think most of the interstate guys will be the air cooled variety.
