Yeah bit dissapointed that I entered Modified and didnt win anything, I cant realy do that much more to the car

Maybe they need to put a few more categories for the Watercooled cars. I wonder what they class as modified, would like to know what the judges base it on/
Tho Valver your car was higly modified and you won the class, at least they got something right. Congrats to you

To win modified you have to look like your going to go fast , not necessarily actually do it . To me it kinda defeats the purpose . Modified should be based upon everything overall , looks , timeslip and dyno graph .

there should be 3 "modified" classes Street, Track, Show

Street should be all mods are street legal, car must be street registered, engineer certs where needed etc..
Track should be mods designed to make the car go faster and handle better, cages, bucket seats, dyno graphs and track times should have to be submitted as well, its one thing to build a car but another to drive it well.
Show should be more modified the better from the smallest nut to the pistons, chrome work, retrims etc..etc..

Honestly the Judges wouldnt even know, they just look at the car for about 2 min and tick a box. They wouldnt know what mods the Watercooled cars have, they probably wouldnt even know what was stock or modified

I didnt take many pics even though i had the camera in hand most of the day will get up what i have later
Big thanks to Josh for helping me with tyre/wheel fitting and letting me wash the car at his joint
Some awesome cars at the show. also had a great arvo chilling/laughs with everyone (except the dead cat...)

also FWD skids/drifting ftw
