UPDATE- Oxenford Show

OUR VW SECTION HAS BEEN ALLOCATED GREAT SPOT, nice & dry & flat.

EVERY ENTRANT HAS A PARKING SPOT ALLOCATED WITHIN THE VW SECTION.
WE HAVE DONE THE BEST WE CAN 60+ CARS
PUT ALL CARS IN THERE CATEGORY I.E MK1, MK2, MK3 ETC

UPDATES ON THE SHOW CAN BE FOUND ON:-

THE SHOW WILL ONLY BE CANCELLED IF WEATHER BECOMES EXTREMELY BAD, WHICH IT WON'T

I HAVE FILLED IN ALL FORMS FOR JUDGES TO JUDGE CARS, ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, WE SHALL BE THERE FROM 6.30 AM TO DIRECT YOU TO YOUR SPOT, DON'T FORGET A CHAIR.
THEN SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE DAY

We shall be there from 6.30 Sunday, the later the more traffic getting into the grounds.
We shall be there tomorrow setting up the Marquis 11.00am- 1.00 pm max (will you be there?) there will still be some bits to do on Sunday, flags balloons, tape and helping with parking.

Awesome, I'll get there as soon as I can Sunday then. I have an exam 8am tomorrow morning and another at 3.30pm so probably won't get a chance drop in and help, they're both 3 and a bit hours long :'( But if I decide to nip home I'll definitely come by to see the progress and make sure the marquis hasn't flown anyone into any neighbouring suburbs Tomorrow is so packed already I'll probably be up very late cleaning the car or up very early

I just got a call from the hire company... Seems the the car I was grabbing tomorrow was in a prang this morning so isn't available any more ... she did mention it's raining and is supposed to continue through tomorrow anyway So looks like I will be in something else.

Oh well, I'm still coming up, worst case I suppose we all just have our own little VW show in some carpark nearby

I just got off the phone from Rosemarie with some bad news, the show has been postponed till 2nd October as it's pissing down and they think the entry is just going to be too far gone (amongst other things). I'm sure there will be more details coming soon.

Got off the phone seeing what I can do with my flights...

Can't change anything unless it's more than 24 hours out...
So I can't change the SYD -> BNE flight...

But the flight back is more than 24 hours out...

I can change the name on the flight... except that since they are on the same booking and I can't change the first flight, I can't change the name at all so can't give it to a friend with family in QLD.

But I can change the date and time...

So how about I move it to Oct 2 instead...

Nope. Flights for October are not yet open for bookings

Dang. Oh well. Suppose these things happen, at least I wasn't half way there driving up right now
