So to the people thinking of going... you bringing a sporty-ish car along?

I'm totally up for it, but if you're planning on only going as fast as the slowest person, well...
I can drive fast when I have a car that permits fast driving!

I'll see where my MK1 is by that stage, and I will have hopefully met most of you by then too.

As Tim said mate, its all about a good drive, a good chin wag and a laugh. We dont care if you drive slow or fast, just as long as we all stay well within the bounds of the law

To get most people on board I think we would need to have it between New years day and when people go back to work.

Ive stayed in Jindabyne a couple of times and East Jindabyne is the nicer side (its quieter and has better views, but all of Jindabyne is nice!)

nope I want to do the vic high country cruise as well. Probably next feb.
I thought this might be good cos it could involve some of the dudes from ACT and NSW if they were up for it.

Also the place has 12 beds. So i dont think we need massive interest.

Van - nothing specific needs to be done yet other than to contribute to any ideas/planning. Its all just testing the waters at the minute

Snow season offically ends Oct long weekend.

Those roads are all bitumen and of excellent condition along almost the entire length. Its certainly not back country bitumen roads.

Plenty of fuel available in the major towns. Batlow, Tumburumba, Tumut

100% agree with you man! Earky Jan would be a goer, that means VIC, NSW and ACT people will still be on their break.
