  • NSW VW Nationals Wrapup and Photos

Here is the place for all your photos etc from today's event.

We had a great turn out from the watercooled stables with a big group of the boys from Golf.net.au as well as some out of Staters

A very special mention has to go to VR6pitcrew, Chris' parents, who have done a superb job of finishing off his car and bringing it down from Brisbane for the event after his tragic death last year.

As something a little something special for them Matthew White and and boys at Camden GTI put together a special trophy made from some VR6 parts:

Mind you I think they are going to have to find smoe extra space after taking out a couple of trophies anyway:

If you have some photo's put them up here

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

        Keep the pics coming!!!

A few new cars this year too!

What ended up being the numbers?

Did the watercoolers outnumber the aircoolers this year?

Did Alex's old Mk2 make it back from WA & is living back in Syd.?

Big Rons dreaded Mk1 back in the scene too! It may be clean as a whistle. but christ Giorgetto Giugiaro would be horrified.

Bit upset I could not make it today, both my parents were taken to hospital in Melb last night so it was not real practical to go to a car show.

Nice pics so far, I will come back later an flick though more of them.

I love the 17" Audi wheels on the MK3.

Yeah the MK2 is back on the east side but it lives in Canberra now.

Just got home a little while ago, had a good weekend.

Car ran faultlessly at Wakefield, drove it 2 hours there, flogged it all day and drove it to sydney afterwards. I didn't have to touch the car all weekend which I'm stoke with, definately have the supersprint bug now though and am busting to go back again. Managed to do a 1:22.9 on my very last lap of the day which in a prety stock mk1 I'm stoked with.

Got to the show nice and early this morning, very long day but good to catch up with everyone.
