I’ve been looking for custom dash switches (upper dash, just below MFD - there are 7 of them) for Amaroks 2017 and later. I’ve literally found hundreds of switches for 2016 and earlier. But no switches for 2017 models onwards.

Do these switches have a backlight?

Mine doesn’t, yet every other button in the car does.

Are they meant to be? Have an allspace highline and they seem to have the laser etched ‘bits’ like all the other (illuminated) buttons in my car, but the two roof mounted interior light switches don’t illuminate.

Just wondering if anyone has done an upgrade from the standard Mk5 electric window switches to Mk6 ones with the aluminium finishes. Are they more durable than the Mk5 ones?
I've just picked up a Mk5 GTI and I'm amazed at how easily the switches and door handles/stereo fascia mark up or scratch....
