Hi, i am changing my headunit to a new one rcd 310 is still in my car is there any way i can get the code from it?

I pulled out the old RCD310 from the Polo and replaced it with an RCD510 and looking to give it a home other than the bin. It's free for anyone that wants it if you pay for shipping? I'm in Queensland. I'm a new user so I can't post in for sale.

Ranger from Brisbane here. Got a 2011 Golf 118TSI manual with some sports pack bits which I *love* driving on my daily commute. Such a great drivers car (until you get problems!). Glad I chose this over the Clio.
Have also taken the RCD310 out and put a Nexus 7 in as a navigation...

I currently own a MY12 Polo 6R, which came with RCD310 and the Touch Adapter V2.

All my phones have no problem connecting to the RCD310 as a media player to stream music.
However, only on rare occasions will I be able to talk on the phone with the connection active....

The day I bought my new Tiguan in 2012 I removed the RCD310 & installed an RNS510, it was in the car for about an hour.

I'm having a problem with my MY13.5 Polo 77TSI's MDI interface with the RCD310.

Intermittently, my iPod (30gb gen 5, I think?) won't register. Sometimes I get the error...
