Have just fitted a Mk 6 steering wheel to the 2009 R36.

Error code 01426 - controls in steering wheel (E221) 004 - no signal communication.

I have the AJ SWCM which I thought should be late enough.

Is there a specific coding to do...

Getting a P0016 on the above car. See that there were faults with the tensioner on earlier models that should have been corrected on this one. Anyone else with a tsi this late model have the same issue?

I've had several VWs over the years starting with a bay window which I had in Europe for three years of wonderful travel from 74 through to late 77..... lots of fun.
