Going to pick up my first Transporter T5 2006 TDI 2.5 4Motion .
Have always had a VW in my life .
73 Kombi , Wife had a 73 Beetle ( regret selling both of these in the 90's
Audi A4 wagon ( close cousin ) 1997
Now have Q5 ( wifes ) and I have an R36
The T5 is a late replacement for the Kombi and will be a Beach van .
It has the common water pump death with a sump full of coolant so that will be the first fix .
Looking forward to being part of the forums .
