I've had the filter for months, been putting it off, cos I'm not sure/comfortable, with cutting that 8mm nylon fuel hose...!
Any tips...?
The plan is too use two fully banded fuel hose clamps on each hose that slips over the nylon, as the nylon hose tails wont have any barbs...

Mk8 Golf Missing Auto Hold Handbrake
So just took a trip to the dealership today and learnt that the Mk8 golf does not have the Auto Hold Handbrake function. It is introduced at GTI level and I think it's because of the lack of DSG.
What is more strange, if you use the adaptive cruise, the car can bring you to a stop (just...

Auto Hold Failure.
I have had my Tig for 3 months now and enjoying it extremely. I love the ACC and the Auto Hold.
But the other day I stopped at the lights and the Auto Hold activated and took my foot off the break.

B6 BKP Issue? :/
Have an odd problem with my 07 passat TDI wagon with DSG box.
When cold, for probably the first km of driving it's very jerky if im just trying to hold speed. If im accelerating at a reasonable rate it's fine, it seems only to be if im trying to hold 30/40/50, any faster and it's fine....

Do you use auto hold ?
I recently bought an MY16 passat alltrack. For the first few weeks i had auto hold on. I assumed maybe you needed it with the dsg on any sort of hill. Lately i have turned it off and find the car a much better drive. The auto start kicks in now when i take my foot off the brake. With autohold on i had...

Repairing engine cooling system
Some time ago a service person broke the plastic nub that is part of the coolant bottle return hose attachment.
Only realised the car was low on coolant when the heating wasn't working. Checked coolant levels. Nothing in the tank. It was a slow leak.
Tried to clamp the hose closer...Last edited by stefcio007; 04-07-2017, 10:41 PM.

Hi Guys,
