Had to have the battery replaced this week and since then the auto down and up function of the windows has quit.
Need to hold the switch the whole way up or down.
Is there a fuse for this function?
Thanks!
There is a technique to relearn the auto up/down feature after replacing or disconnecting the battery. With the ignition on, hold the switch until the window goes all the way down, keep holding the switch and you will hear a faint click. Then lift the switch so the window goes up, keep holding the switch and you will hear another faint click - this should now have relearned the upper and lower limits of the window and your auto open/close feature should work again.
I've never noticed a click, but this seems to happen every now and again even without replacing the battery. Lucas is right on for the fix, just put it all the way down then all the way up again
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
