So the crank breather hose has totally disintegrated. This runs up from the crank to the left port on the rocker cover, I assume it then goes in through the PCV and back out to the intake.

I have a persistent code P2279 Leak in Air Intake System and a CEL.
This is the NON turbo FSI...

I have a 2001 Cabriolet 2.0L AGG engine that lost power on the motorway on a hot day. No warning lights came on. Tried to start, it fired then chugged and stalled, this happened a few times. Then no fire at all, car was towed home. I replaced the crank position sensor and ecu relay, but still no spark....

So I'm going with large port AGU head for my Polo's 1.8T build. Given that its large port and also that I wont be using a huge sized turbo, I'm pretty keen to convert this head over to VVT operation. The aim of this is not just for the VW cold starts but to use intake advance throughout the rev range...

Where on the motor will I find the cam sensor and the crank sensor.

My t4 has recently developed a issue where is sometimes cuts out for a spilt second, the revs counter flicks up and then kicks in again.
