Head unit from my MK5 GTI. Factory though it was a dud but they just had bad firmware (now fixed) They sent me another complete unit which is now in the car and operating properly.

Driving yesterday and the check oil warning message appeared. Got home, checked the oil level after it cooled down, and it was basically dead centre in the safe zone. So there’s no excessive oil burning occurring, no leaks, and I replaced the oil and filter about 10 months back. Service due in December....

I just noticed that my MY16 Passat Alltrack has a recall listed as outstanding. Its for the ''S-Engine control unit'' and the recall commenced 31/05/2022. Has anyone had it done / know what its about. I will check with the dealer but sometimes i get better info here than i do from the dealer.

I came across some options for plug'n'play side mirror indicators with the sequential/progressive feature (like the tail indicators).

Has anyone fitted these before? Are they any good?
