Thanks guys ..... yeah it's a bugger re the rims. Have followed up VW Roadside Assist as it's been 2 weeks since an incident report was lodged with them. Hopefully it'll be quicker than the 8 weeks for the immobiliser but I'm not holding my breath.
Must be jinxed as the battery died on...

Saga to this point in time with the replacement Steering Immobiliser Unit fitted and checked ...... had the T-ROC back for just over a week and doing as it should.
Have had to go to VW Roadside Assist as the 2 front 19" Suzuka Rims were damaged by the towie having to thread straps...

Thanks for that ..... did find etka somewhere but thought nah not paying so I'll do a face to face with VW Keystar and on Friday got the part number of 2Q0 905 861 A - Steering Immobiliser Module or in some "circles" Electronic Steering Lock Module. So the saga continues ...... after the last debacle of the incorrect part being ordered the "supposed" correct part/module was ordered and arrived @ Keystar yesterday ....... this is too ridiculous to comprehend as when the parcel was opened today it only contained a new set of bolts to secure...
