Been a long time VW user. Started with a '73 Beetle in 1983. Owned a Wolfsburg Edition Jetta, Golf MkII 2.0 16V GTi - back in South Africa.

Bought a Polo a couple of years back and need to freshen it...

Has anybody here had a situation when the fuel pump stays on while the ignition is on but the engine not running ? in the past on my mk2 gti and mk1 16v the pump would only come on for a few seconds . any ideas ?

This is a set of Ashley extractors to suit the shorter block 16v motors into a MK1. (Will not suit ABF)

I bought them second hand and they were rusty but looked OK.

When they came back from ceramic coating holes had developed where the pipes merge into the collector....
