I'm going overseas on Saturday morning and am thinking of making my first Uber booking. The cost is a bit less than if I use a taxi but should I be worried that the Uber car doesn't turn up?

Would you rely on Uber for an early airport run?

Lol I'd be more worried about the taxi not showing up at all, mate!
1981 Honda Civic hatch. Proper AUTO REVERSE cassette player. AM/FM with Stereo speakers. Four (yep, FOUR!) speed manual. Full cloth trim seats. HALOGEN lightbulbs! Factory options fitted: rear wipers and washer, "Go Fast" wheel covers & electric front windows.

Where we live which is 45mins from the airport we get a limo Is actually only $10 more than a shuttle and only the two of us.
When we came back from USA plane was 5 hours late but Limo driver was still there waiting because his idiot boss didnt relay the call I made from Noumea to say we had been diverted for fuel.

Yes taxis can be a bit suss , got a taxi from Sydney airport to Kirrawee back in the early 2000s the whole time during the trip the driver was on his phone to his local Iman . God knows what they were discussing but I am sure it wasn't anything suspect .
