Welding in Melbourne

Anyone out Ringwood way handy with a welder and want to help me out for cash or the beer equivalent ?

I've got a box trailer with a hinged lid (with gas struts) that currently opens to the side I want to re-configure to hinge at the draw bar end so I need to cut off and re-attach two hinges and re-locate the gas struts.

I would also like to have a couple of tie down points welded into the inside of the box trailer so I can secure things inside the trailer. (Plan B is to drill (then prime and paint) a few holes and use U Bolts for these so they are removeable).

I could give it a bash, but having never welded anything before it's probably best I get someone who has done it before (and has the welding tools & experience).

Anyone interested?

Since no-one has replied I'll tell you something funny and give you a bump.
Last year this reception had a wedding expo. Now this place is where you'd have a wedding expo, so you probably would think it's a bit odd when for quite some time there's a sign on the road advertising a welding expo. The person who set up the sign made an error and all throughout the time it was advertised burly old men were coming in asking where the welding expo was...a lot of confused faces.
