Threbo had plenty of snow on ground, but we only got one smallish new snowfall the whole time we were there

It did rain a bit, but was warm so the snow was sludge by lunchtime on quite a few days.

Whinge whinge, I wasnt disappointed though, a crap day on the snow is still better than the best day any where else.

Thinking about a north american tour for my next holiday probably January 2011, and hopefully get a few days in Japan early next year

yeah- screw rental gear. especially when its so cheap online. i think im going with my dad to japan early next year- im sick of rain at buller. last season was okay, but this season was really, really depressing. and just when i'd given up and stopped going, it dumps 45cm's in one day..... too late, i'd already written the season off.

and preeny- i think its 5 guys in a white mid-90's bmw 5 series wagon screaming past 2 guys who are filming, and they swerve around one truck at an intersection, and then smash into an oncoming truck. whole thing up in flames.

I'd really love to know how your VR6 achieved this, given the power/torque/weight factors involved. They may not have built purely for straight-line speed, but they are not slow cars, by any stretch of the imagination. From 110km/h to 180km/h, I imagine pretty much always under load and on boost...

And dare I ask where said racing was taking place?

1) mine is hardly stock, especially when it comes to weight
2) the evo was
3) i know and understand how quick evo's are ( I Have Owned One )
4) why is it that on this site whenever another brand of car is talked about it always turnes into "nope VW is **** comared to" or somthing along those lines
