What van do I have?

Here's a noob question if there ever was one.
i just bought a 2006 transporter, long wheelbase.

it has Windows all the way to the back.
it has 3 rows of seats, middle back and rear seats are removable.
1.9 diesel motor.

the rego papers say it is a Trakka, but that's not a VW model is it?
i think it's a Caravelle.

Welcome to the Forum !! There were a few oddball ones around in those days from VW some were called "Runners " Trakka are an Aussie company that do mainly camper conversions and other conversions . Someone will have the definitive answer shortly .

Thanks Sunny, I looked up Trakka and yes they do campers, this isn't even set out as a camper, just the seats.

ive seen some Trakka vans of that era at Auctions that were electrical contractor vehicles, possibly Telstra. They had rear hinged Pop tops. They are the only times ive ever seen a non-full Trakka conversion.

As for the type of van you have im not sure. Sounds like a carravelle unless they are after market seats.
