Recently bought myself a little 1.9TDI polo. Super tidy thing, but as soon as I drove it for the first time the coolant warning light came on - after investigation, whatever muppet worked on the car previously put the temp sensor o-ring on the wrong side of the copper section....

I haven't posted much here in the last little while but thought I would share my other toy that I have been fixing up.

Be as it may, this was a parts bin special. I had some stuff laying around and decided to jam it all together to make a not so nicely done but fun toy car / thrasher....

After 250,000Ks it appears the turbo in my Golf has spat the dummy. it's a 2005 1.9 Mark V. I was just wondering where to go to get a replace turbo. I'm just looking at the standard turbo, nothing flash.

It seemed to drive fine, the steering was slightly loose with the steering wheel having a few millimetres of free movement before making the car turn, but nothing you would really notice...
