How to extend the music player ON-TIME when ignition is off
When we go camping in our VW Passat, 2018 wagon, we settle in for the night in the back, and sometimes listen to a film score. If the ignition is left on, outside lights stay on, so I turn the ignition off to ensure the battery doesn't drain as much. The sound stays on – but only for about 30 minutes.... -

Not really a newbie
Registered as a new user as I am getting doddery in my old age and could not remember which username, email address or passwords I used when I first registered back in 2008. Have had a few VWs and now have a 2009 Passat CC TDI and a 2014 Passat B7 118 TSI wagon. -
Who has been here a long time?
I used to be very heavily involved in the forum back with my Mk3 Golf and later my TSI APR Amarok but moved away from VW. Technically i still own a V6 Amarok HighLine but haven't driven a VW regularly for a few years now.
