The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • Tips to remove interior lights re bulb replacement?

Howdy, I'm looking to replace the bulbs inside my Multivan with LEDs. Is there any tricks/tips to remove the light covers without damaging them? Cheers.

I've done the same. Just the lense comes off.

The ones I bought didn't make a whole lot of difference to light output, but I'm less likely to drain the battery, as there's less current draw with the LEDs.

Hmmm, thanks Umai, but that doesn't tell me much. Any other ideas folks?

        Led's installed.

Managed to install the LED's in the interior over the weekend. Tonight was the first time I've driven in the dark. Crikey they are BRIGHT.
Reminded me of the "ugly" lights that used to come on in the pub when it was kick out time.
Nil damage to the light fittings but I did need to remove the front map light fitting to get access there. All in all a good job.
        .
Now all I need is to find out how to remove the footwell "Multivan" lights to change the bulbs there. They look really yellow now when compared to the others. Cheers.

Yes makes you wonder why they still fit outdated bulbs , LED's are so much brighter and less battery drain . I also have fitted a Cree led light bar into the grill and WOW the difference is night and day . High beam means you can see stuff hundreds of metres away .
