Thought I'd add to this,
Just got 4 DBA rotors(2242S and 2247E) and in the process of fitting.
I wanted to get their HD 4000 plain series for the front(slightly softer material, so better performance) but they no longer make any of the 4000 series - plain, slotted or drilled, for my T5, even though they are currently listed on their website.ie. any with 4xxxx designation
So, went with plain slotted at front to get bit better braking.Plain solids at the rear.
My old discs are very worn, at both ends. 180K km
edit:
Thickness measured at 180K km, VW rotors
left front 26.67
right front 26.31
left rear 19.94
right rear 19.96
VW spec these at, min 28.5mm front, and min 19.5mm rear
so, fronts well under, rears at min
Two of the new rotors
I also made up a new sturdier rear piston winder, as my old PVC pipe thing rounded off

Nice looking tool you have there!
I bought a cheap one off eBay which I had to modify slightly with a dremel to get it fit, but works perfectly now.
Two and a half years on and my "new" brakes and pads still squeal, but only in reverse. It bothers me, but not nearly enough to pull it back apart and do anything about it. Mind you, we have done about 30,000km since then so I expect they will be changed soon enough which will solve the problem
