Brake Rotor Size

Hi Caddy folks

My sister has asked me to do the front brakes and some other maintenance on her Caddy.
I just cannot work out what size rotors to buy.

Listings show 3 sizes along with option codes
280MM 1ZM, 1ZF
288MM 1ZE
312MM 1LJ, 1ZA

The only option code related to brakes is: 1AC - Anti-lock brake system (ABS)
Which does not help much.

So what should I be getting ?

Are you going by the PR-code sheet from the first page of the service book?

Erwin will give you a full list of options, but that will cost 7 euro.

Maybe just call the dealer with the VIN and get the part number from them?

In an instance like this where there are 3x possible disk sizes and you dont have access to the car to measure beforehand, I would just buy all 3x sizes so you know for sure you will have the right parts on the day, and then return the 2x incorrect ones. I think this is less inconvenient than having to get the car back on another day due to having incorrect parts.

Obviously if you decide to do this just make sure wherever you buy them from has a good return policy and keep your receipt.

Asking on the internet is almost faster than the dealer network
