Awesome have gave me a price of 684pounds delivered to your door, they say this is the cheapest they could do due to the weight and size of the crash bar??

In other words the 'Awesome' FMIC core is too big for the standard front support/impact beam on the Polo, so they obviously have manufactured another one for the package to replace it. That's a lot of extra size and weight for shipping. Ask them if they can supply it without the 'crash bar', 'cos you guys could probably just modify yours.....highly illegal as it may be.

I know if your dealing with forge direct they wont let you buy the fmic without it. APR cuts this support quite a bit and Sharkies does a little bit as well.

Its a FORGE IC, the crash bar has the mounts for the intercooler. I dont know how the APR one is mounted? maybe someone can enlighten me? Works out to be around the $1400 mark. I'm sure some members have had both fitted? some info please!!

ok its now confirmed to be 145 pounds for shipping (im guessing cos its heavy as hell with that safety bar included). so really were looking at $1138.55 +gst (10%) (1252.40), + 10% duty, meaning $1377.60 to your door. if anyone has got any good ideas on shipping to lower the costs im all ears. contact still hasnt got back to me about, shipping plumbing seperatly.

ok ive managed to avoid the 10%duty tax. so the cost stands at 1137.05 (400 pounds+145pounds shipping) + 10%gst, which is $1250.75. if ive missed something other than (product cost+shipping+gst) throw me an im message.

By all means if anybody at all can beat $1250.75, im all ears.
