ok ive managed to avoid the 10%duty tax. so the cost stands at 1137.05 (400 pounds+145pounds shipping) + 10%gst, which is $1250.75. if ive missed something other than (product cost+shipping+gst) throw me an im message.

By all means if anybody at all can beat $1250.75, im all ears.

If it's under $1k I don't think you pay GST either (if they underwrite it on the shipping) as that's a customs thing for products over $1k.

ok accoring to this government document http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=5653 if its under $1000, we are exempt from gst as well.

though before i go jumping the gun here, can someone please second check here. the last thing i really want is to go chasing people for money.infact thats a personal hate of mine, a debt collector i am not.

I'd say it's definitely not payable - but surely if you were trying to get them under $1000, they would all need to be imported separately (otherwise they'd be worth well over $1000)... meaning you could set up a deal with the vendor that everyone pays individually at a group price.

couldn't be bothered reading through 8 pages of thread, but is this price exclusive of the VAT (tax) or whatever tax they apply o/s. If it is from europe, we do not pay the their VAT.

well the idea i had, was that i was going to import them seperatly. i was going to give my supplyer the name and address, of each individual buyer, so they would get the group buy price.,......well that was the idea anyway.
