Lol yea the polo reeks when the air con compressor turns off. I don't know why, i reckon they ship them with a mini swamp behind the dash.

You guys must be used to sitting on ice cubes or something.

AC in the polo is fresh as.

Drove it day before yesterday in scorching heat and i had to turn the A/c off because it was giving me a headache from being soo cold.

I found my ac is pretty awesome but it takes a good while for it to kick in

            (p.s. also have tint)

That's right, my only complaint is on a warm summers day in Brisvegas mine takes heaps of time to cool down! A lot longer than any of my previous cars anyway. Yes I do have a good tint as well

I have tint and I don't think mine is cold enough either. Takes too long to cool the car but once the car is cool it seems to be able to maintain the temperature.

No problems here except the time taken to cool the cabin, but that is a result of not having a tint yet.

My problem isn't with how cold it gets, the AC works well and does keep me cool. My problem is when turned up to 2 or 3 a few times the car will stall if I don't give it more revs then normal.

I dont have a problem at all with the AC - could be because its new. I had it on 1 the other day and the passenger in the back asked me to turn the AC off cos it was too cold

Mine is fine. I have dark tint as well. It is slightly less effective than my wife's RAV4 though.

So much so, that two days ago I felt compelled to apply Rob's excellent DIY on cleaning the pollen/dust filter. Flow increased a bit, but no colder Oh well, 30k service due, so I'll ask the dealership to "fix" it
Ditto. However I have the Ming tint on the Euro, and a standard tint on the Polo - the Euro's climate control is a lot better.

My brother had Climate Control as an option on his Polo in Norway - we don't have that here.

Regardless the system itself doesn't seem quite as good, even after getting it rejetted under warranty.

mine doesnt work at all... damn you all and your woking air cons. Theres either a leak or im out of gas, all the beelts look fine, but i need to book mine in for a warrnty job to get it fixed. It wasn't fun driving it without air con from down the coast back home on a very hot and humid day....
