Fitted up some eccentric control arm bushes to give me some extra castor (+5.5 degrees now) along with lower engine mount and rear beam axle mountings. Much sharper car. Me likey!
did anyone ever had a problem running the splitR valve?
i know it's half recirc. valve, but won't it give a problem or fault code?:-s
Blitzen is correct in saying about a 70/30 recirc/atmo and it doesn't produce any fault codes. I will say that I did have trouble with the splitter cutting the vacumn hose, so beware of that. Check it every now and then and you should be fine. I fixed mine by raising the bov with a cable tie.
I have convinced myself that the WhiteLine rear stabiliser is now an essential upgrade DIY, asap......... rising gradiant at 80kph lifted left rear wheel

You do it more so with the rear sway bar, just around tighter corners...

Swaybar? It is a stop gap to the overall problem that the Polo GTI stock suspension was pretty average. The more time you spend driving, the more evident the understeer is no fun and if you have it chipped, the inside wheel slips easily. A LSD would go a long way here, but a good set of coilovers / spring & shock combo is the only real way to get good handling.
Best to do yourself a favour and see if one of the Brizzy boys will show you what can be achieved with a bit of cash...
