Flat6 That is exactly what I wanted to hear and have happen with this rear bar! It isn't adjustable is it? Instructions included?
Could you elaborate on the instal? Cheers Al
Nah it isn't adjustable but even if it was you'd probably just choose the stiffest setting and leave it at that, this bar would be about the equivalent to the stiffest setting on the white line, the only difference between the two is the method of install, this bar is much easier to install and it basically goes to the same contact points.

There were no instructions included but after 10 minutes of looking at it you figure it out

The smaller bolts, washers and nuts are used to mount the arms to the suspension mount, the large nuts and washers are used on the bar, be sure to double washer the bolt on the bar.

I used two jacks and jacked the car up a little on both sides, the tires don't need to leave the ground it was purely just so i could get under it, be careful to as the car will move if both tires leave the ground!

Bolted the mounts to the suspension arms, then bolted the bar in place, be sure to raise the bar so it clears the ground as much as possible and tighten it equally on both sides

I'd find a quiet, sloped car park and check for the response when lifting off while turning in hard facing downhill, just to worst case the situation. It'd be worth checking how the vehicle responds so you know how to cope if you get caught in the wrong circumstances. Lift off oversteer is fun if you're prepared for it.

                          • That's a good idea, know just the place to test it, Will be interesting to see where tire lift occurs but all round its quite manageable so far, I'm taking corners at least 20% faster without even noticing it.

yup, some people experienced lift off over steer with the rear on the hardest setting. I have my whiteline on the hardest setting and it's great, I find the car very neutral, i.e. the car will slide rather than understeer. I did some track days on the mid setting, it was fine, but prefer harder as its more throttle adjustable. The obvious variables being suspension, tyres and driving style which would explain why some have found it less desirable. The car will only grip as much as the tyres allow, so the hardest setting doesn't necessarily mean it'll corner any faster, just changes the balance to maximise what's available.
