We have all the dyno plumbing in place now & have been running it all week. Good news is that our new dyno fan was well & truly worth the big bucks mainline charged us for us.

In the current ambient temps we are getting great, stable, repeatable runs. Stable intake temps are what it's all about.

If someone want's to run their Polo FOC on the dyno next week (work time), let me know. We can get the gear ratio's sorted in advance & then find a clear weekend (oh, and remind me when this thread gets updated!)

Guy, I'd be keen to come by next week. Any time on Friday is good, though if that didn't work for you happy to let someone else do it.

Never had the car on a dyno and still planning on some more work before this actual day so would be great to get a base reading for reference, too.

Won't be as exciting as having Anthony's there, though.. hah.

Only problem with that Saturday, Guy, is that it's a Happy Laps day that a few of us will be going to already.

Very interested to see how this turns out - if the dates end up pushing back into August I'd seriously consider driving up from Canberra to see how my Polo fares on APR's home turf. If not, will be keen to see the results and hopefully someone will take some non-camera phone videos from the day also.

OK - Happy laps I see.

Some options:

Saturday 21st July - 1/2 day, we must finish by midday

Saturday 28th July - we can run into the afternoon (people can come in after Happy laps)

Otherwise we can bump it out to Saturday 24th August - we have full weekends in between.

Would the August date give everyone more time?
