If we are going to do a proper Polo day, keep it to Polo's only first, if we get time we can run other cars.

The purpose of the day is for you all to leave with good data, not just have a run & then sit around for months debating "why"! It may take several runs to pull the data you need to work out exactly what your car is doing. may need some helpers for the day - spectators welcome of course

i agree, i dont want to take the spot from a polo. if there is a spare spot on the day ill have a run but if not im more than happy to just spectate

This is a upgrade many polo owners are interested in doing on their cars (frankenturbo/ko4), so I think it is more important than seeing what a tune, exhaust etc does.
We already know what polos with the basic bolt on mods can do

No worries Guy, didn't mean to step on your toes with the invitation. I just thought with only 5 Polo's so far you may want more numbers.

If it takes up to an hour to do each car, honestly, we don't want to many! We can do a Golf day another time for sure though.

Hope this gets a good turn out and happens again , be great to come out and frighten some onlookers with mines hehe, its a 6N2 but it is a Polo.
Looking forward to this one mind.
The more you guys get the taste for this the more fullfilling my Saturdays are going to be, really feeds the hunger. Lovin it.

See another post by me .... MK4 GTI engine is not the same as the Polo 9n3 GTI ..... both 1.8 T 20V yes, but Mk4 has different internals that can take a Stg3 turbo, Polo does not.

Can you pencil me in as a maybe participant? It'd be great if we can have indicative timing of when the car will be dyno'd as I won't be able to stand around all day. If we allow 45/60mins a car, we should be reasonably accurate on timing. I think having a stage 1 vehicle will add some value to forum discussions, so a small way of giving back to what I've got a lot out of it.

I can't yet commit to participating though.
