I think there is a bunch of brackets for the airbox you can probably bin if you're not going to be returning it to stock.
the battery comes in a metail container. I screwed the container down into thecurrent battery holder, and then put the battery into the holder...it fits very tight.
Yip, I am slowly pully the old brackets out...taking a bit of time. Did you order your ths cooler ?
I didn't go with the THS, I bought the Seat one. Its been sitting at work for 2 weeks waiting for some movement on the pipes. Getting there, was hoping for some help but looks like I'll be ordering for 3 of us now.
Was playing with my car, and decided to fit the 3" MAF to see what happens -- just experimenting
Initially the car did idel a bit rough, but ater a few km's, the ecu seemed to adapt.
I know there will be a few comments on this, but the car feels beter. Much smoother delivery of power. Rem, I am also running a 4BAR FPR, so maybe this makes a differance...
I have also now received all my pipes for the ths cooler...now to get this started
Just waiting for a new turbo, and then CC Phase III

I'll have to recommend that you swap it back Clint until the turbo is on and the software changed.
Have a think about how the ECU meters the fuel. It looks at the mass of the air going into the engine and injects the fuel to match, the lambda probes are keeping an eye on things.
You have fitted a MAF that is now bigger and will therefore be reporting an airflow which is lower than from the std MAF housing in all situations.
The ECU is then going to inject what it thinks is the right amount of fuel for the "low" reading of the MAF. This is going to be seen as a weak mixture by the Lambda probes, that will then cause the ECU to correct the AFRs by trimming the fuel.
Lean mixture do feel peaky but are right. Anthyony tried the same thing and it started pinking which isn't good.

Oh, thanks for the heads-up Gavin....
I decided to give it a try after i read an article on Modshack | Stage 2 MOFO (BAMM)
They mentioned that the ecu will adapt? And you will get some gains.
I agree with your explanation, but thought they might have something to their article....
Oh well, at least i had some fun experimenting...besides i have still got my standard tip, so perhaps i change that over to the forge one that has been in my cupboard for a while now
I installed my THS Seat Cooler today
What a job ! took me quite a few hours !
And guess what....
when I boost past 10psi, I get a whistleing noise coming from the turbo / cooler....I assume one of the pipe are not tight enough...arrrgh, now I need to start tightening pipes again -- unless anyone has any other suggestions.

Anyway, here are the pic's:
Top job Clint, do you have a boost gauge. Is it down on boost when whistling?
Yep, did my Seat core today, same issue! Boosting moderately feels fine, boost hard and I can hear it. Car feels fine on boost, not great. I wonder which connection it will be, hoping I don't have to pull the bumper off again.
