Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      Hi mate.
I am thinking of buying the top rear strut brace for car but I am running a sub in the back.
Can you mount the brace more towrd the rear seat o or are you limited to mounting positions?

Wheels look great! Any idea how much they weigh?

Unless your sub box is rather narrow/thin, it wont fit.
Where I mounted the brace, was where it fitted. If you try mount it more towards the rear seats, there will be a gap between the brace and the car...so wont fit.
Re wheel, thanks...not sure of weight. They are not ulra-lights , I can tell you that...but I love the look

They look good Clint, you have to learn to rotate the pictures before uploading mate.

Don't be leaving that MAF fitted without a tune for it.

Still want to put in the larger injectors and hpfp before the tune...will it be ok for a while with the 3" maf and no new tune?

                              Thanks

You need a bigger turbo before doing the MAF and injectors Clint. The std ones are plenty for the K03s and the fuel pump is insurance.
